SPEAKING ON SATURDAY
About
Sabrina Pace-Humphreys is a British ultrarunner, author, speaker and activist whose work has helped challenge perceptions of who belongs in trail running and the outdoors.
She began running in 2009, starting with a single mile, and has since taken on some of the world’s toughest endurance events, including the Marathon des Sables, the 268-mile Spine Race, the Winter Downs 200 and UTMB Mont-Blanc.
Sabrina is the co-founder of Black Trail Runners and Event Director of Black to the Trails, the UK and Europe’s most ethnically diverse trail running event.
Through her running, writing and community work, she has become a leading voice for greater representation and access within the sport, while encouraging people who may never have seen themselves as runners to find their own place on the trails.
She is the author of Black Sheep and Start Where You Are, and columnist for Women’s Running Magazine. Her contribution to running, representation and the outdoors has also been recognised with an honorary doctorate from the University of Gloucestershire.
At the heart of Sabrina’s work is a belief that running has the power to change lives, build community and create a greater sense of belonging.
