________
Lucy Bartholomew is an Australian endurance athlete whose infectious enthusiasm and adventurous spirit have made her one of trail running's most recognizable ambassadors. Introduced to ultrarunning by her father, she completed her first 100-kilometer race at just 15 years old, launching a career that has taken her across some of the world's most iconic mountain races. Bartholomew has earned victories at races including Ultra-Trail Australia and Ultra-Trail Cape Town, while her third-place finish at the 2018 Western States 100 established her among the sport's elite.
In recent years, she has expanded beyond trail ultramarathons into triathlon, qualifying for and competing at the Ironman World Championship after an impressive debut in the sport. She became one of the few athletes to complete both the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB) and the Ironman World Championship in the same year, showcasing remarkable versatility across endurance disciplines. Beyond racing, Bartholomew inspires a global community through coaching, storytelling, and her philosophy of embracing movement, gratitude, curiosity, and connection with the outdoors.
