Our Sweat Test is an at-rest measurement of the concentration of sodium in your sweat, and takes ~45 minutes to complete. Sodium is the most abundant electrolyte found in sweat, and is essential for maintaining fluid balance, neural control and digestion, among other functions. Your sweat sodium losses are largely genetically determined but vary widely between individuals, from as little as 200mg per litre of sweat to over 2,000mg/L, so a one-size-fits-all approach to sodium replacement just won't cut it.
